Proxiten Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
Welcome to Proxiten! Hexa Software Co. Ltd (“we”) makes the Proxiten VPN app for iPhone and iPad and runs the VPN service behind it. This policy explains what information we collect and why. By using Proxiten, you agree to this policy.
What we don’t do
- We don’t log the websites you visit, your DNS lookups, or the content of your traffic.
- We don’t save your IP address to your account or device record.
- We don’t sell your data.
- We don’t collect your precise location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifier (IDFA).
What we collect
- Device information. This is a random device ID created by the app; we store only a one-way hash of it. It also includes your device model, iOS version, app version, language, region and time zone. We estimate your country from your time zone and region settings to choose servers.
- Session records. For each VPN session we record when it started and ended, which server it used, and how much data it used. We keep these to apply the free version’s limits and to enforce suspensions.
- Account information, only if you sign in. This is your email address, and your name if you share it, from Apple, Google or an email sign-in code. You only need an account to buy VIP.
- Purchases. Apple processes all payments. We receive the transaction details from Apple, never your card details.
- Connection checks. These record your network type (Wi-Fi or cellular) and how fast our servers respond. They are combined into daily totals and deleted within two days.
- Diagnostic logs, only if you send them. These are sent through “Report a problem” and deleted after 14 days.
Blocking abuse
Our servers block BitTorrent, outgoing email (port 25) and connections to private networks. When BitTorrent is detected, we block the connecting IP address on that server for a short time and keep a record of the block. A device that keeps doing this can be suspended.
Third parties
- Google Firebase collects crash reports and app usage statistics.
- Google AdMob shows ads to free users. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent first. You can change your choice in Profile → Ad privacy choices.
- Apple handles Sign in with Apple and App Store payments.
- Our hosting and email providers process data only to run the service.
These companies’ own privacy policies apply to the data they collect.
Your choices
- You can delete your account in Profile → Delete account. Your device keeps working on the free version. We keep purchase records for tax and refunds, but without your name or email. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel your App Store subscription.
- You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete your data at any time.
Security
The app encrypts everything it sends to our servers. It stores your sign-in token in the iOS Keychain.
Children
Proxiten isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, we’ll post the new version here with a new date.
